The latest restrictions in Austria as a result of COVID-19 favour Sevilla. Julen Lopetegui's men face Red Bull Salzburg in a huge game on 8th December.
The Austrian Government have enforced a lockdown due to the rising cases of COVID-19. Despite that, the game will take place in Salzburg.
That said, Sevilla will not have to play in front of spectators because, according to 'AS', the game will be played behind closed doors.
"It's a shame it will take place without fans. The team deserve a full house in the stadium," Andreas Ulmer said after losing against Lille. That meant they missed out on the chance to qualify for the last 16 with a game to spare.
Red Bull Salzburg and Sevilla both need the points. The Austrians need a draw to qualify while the La Liga outfit must win.
