Even though they faced each othr in last season's Champions League, RB Salzburg are seeing the game with Atletico Madrid as a big event.
Salzburg are looking forward to play against Diego Simeone's team again.
"For the first time in a long time, we are playing at home against one of the best clubs in Europe. We are going to work with the guys in the best way possible. It's a very important time in our preparation and for the fans. It's not just a friendly," Matthias Jaissle, the Salzburg coach said.
The match between both clubs, which will take place at the Red Bull Arena, will also be special because of the great atmosphere which is expected for the game.
More than 20,000 spectators will be in the stadium, which could be a big shock to Atletico Madrid as they have played in empty stadia for the best part of a season and a half.
