According to 'EFE', Venezuela's all-time top scorer Salomon Rondon, who left Everton on 1st January, will sign for Riverplate for one year.
Rondon returned to the Premier League in the summer of 2021 after spells in Russia and China as he signed for Everton. He played 31 competitive matches, scored three goals and provided one assist for the English club.
The Venezuelan returns to South American football for the first time since leaving his homeland to join Las Palmas in the summer of 2008.
The striker has played for Malaga, Rubin Kazan, Newcastle United, Dalian Professional, Zenit St Petersburg and West Bromwich Albion in his professional career.
