The police have arrested the French player Yannis Salibur this Wednesday in a hotel in Palma after the footballer allegedly assaulted two tourists.
The player defended himself saying that the tourists had racially insulted his mother.
According to various sources which have been confirmed by 'Europa Press', the footballer was checking into the hotel with his family when his daughter started crying.
While the footballer tried to speed up the process, two tourists accused him of queue jumping and they started mocking his mother.
Salibur assured that the tourists insulted the footballer's mother, calling her "black s**t." The Saint Etienne player started punching them and when the police arrived, instead of stopping, he fought with them as well.
The footballer has played more than 200 games in French football and he made 23 appearances for St Etienne in the last campaign.
