Saliba labels Real Madrid icon Sergio Ramos as 'best defender in history'

William Saliba is ready to host PSV to the Emirates Stadium for the second leg of the Champions League round of 16. The Gunners have all but sealed their place in the quarter-finals after claiming a crushing 7-1 first-leg win over the Dutch side.
The French centre-back, who is considered one of the Premier League's most in-form defenders, has been compared by the English press several times to Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos, who currently plays for Mexican side Monterrey.
The 23-year-old Frenchman feels praised to be compared to the Spanish centre-back, as he considers him to be the best defender in history. "I like it, he’s been probably the best defender in history. I like being a colossus," he told reporters.
In addition, the Gunners defender has been linked with a possible move to Real Madrid, something he declined to discuss at the pre-match press conference ahead of the PSV game. "I have some years left on my contract. There is no rush at the minute," said the defender when asked on the matter.
