The Egyptian FA and Liverpool will not be able to play Salah in the coming days. The footballer has tested positive in the latest PCR tests and so he will not play in this international break.
Egypt have confirmed the news in an official statement on social media. They say the player does not have any symptoms.
"The tests done on our national team show that Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, has got coronavirus after testing positive even though he doesn't have any symptoms. The rest of the tea came back negative," the Egyptian FA said in a statement.
Therefore, Salah will not be able to play against Togo this Saturday on 17th November. With regards to Liverpool, the Reds will have to wait for him to have two negative tests before he can play.
