Man Utd manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said, when asked who is better out of Cristiano Ronaldo or Mohamed Salah, that he will always support the Portuguese striker. He plays for his team, of course.
The comparison between the Portuguese and the Egyptian striker for Liverpool has been made as a result of Salah's chances of winning the Ballon d'Or. His good performances recently have led to the possibility of him winning it increasing.
Solskjaer, in the build up to Man Utd versus Liverpool this weekend, was clear: "I'll always back Cristiano in any competition."
On Salah, he said that his goalscoring record "is fantastic" and that, right now, he's in great form.
"We know we have to be at our best to defend against him. I'm a big fan of Liverpool's front three. We have to focus on them for 95 minutes to keep a clean sheet," the Norwegian continued.
"Liverpool are one of the teams we've been chasing in the last four years. We have to improve in order to be at their level."
On the game, the United manager confirmed that two important players in Bruno Fernandes and Fred could be missing, but that "they will do everything possible to be fit for the match."
