Saka: title defeat "hurts a lot"

Arsenal sat at the top of the Premier League for most of this season, taking an incredible 50 points from their first 19 games. Unfortunately, Arsenal couldn't keep up the pressure, and as City closed the gap with win after win, the Gunners watched their title slip away.
The dream came to an end with Arsenal's 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest, which handed City the title. The loss meant Arsenal had only taken 9 points from a possible 24 in their last 8 PL games.
Bukayo Saka, who produced 13 goals and 11 assists in the PL this season, spoke to club legend Ian Wright about how the defeat "hurts a lot" for a young squad like Arsenal's.
"'Speaking about this season, it hurts a lot, it really hurts so much to even think about", Saka said.
However, the young star remains positive about the club's direction: "'I think when the dust settles and all the negative emotions are out, I think everyone can look at us and be excited for the future.
"We’re hungry, a lot of us haven’t won at Arsenal, so we want to achieve big things. We want to win and we want to win here," he added.
His comments follow the signing of his new contract, which will see him in an Arsenal kit until 2027.
