Saka closer to extend his contract with Arsenal

Bukayo Saka has become one of the players around whom Arsenal's long-term project has been built. In fact, the English winger's absence has been noticed by Arteta, who has welcomed his return as a major boost to try to eliminate Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals.
The Spanish coach praised Saka before hosting Brentford, describing him as a “humble” player and “committed” to the Gunners in the long term, something he was not wrong about.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the 23-year-old attacker is closer to reaching an agreement with Arsenal to sign a new contract until 2030, extending his commitment to the club for three more seasons.
Despite spending nearly three months on the sidelines, Saka has once again played a key role under Mikel Arteta. The Gunners youth product has scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists in just 28 appearances this season.
