Saint-Maximin turns down AC Milan: "I'm proud to be at Newcastle"

Right winger Allan Saint-Maximin has a Newcastle contract until 2026. The player, at least for now, is not going anywhere.
AC Milan are reportedly interested in the footballer, but the Frenchman is not keen on the move. Despite the fact he is not playing as regularly as he would like, he says he is happy at Newcastle.
"I want to be sincere, I'm not going to lie. When you don't play much, other teams can see it and they think it's the right time to come and buy the player, but I'm very proud to be here," he said in comments reported by 'Northern Echo',
This season, Saint-Maximin has played 18 matches, but has started just six of them. To conclude, he sent a message to his club: "The most important thing for me is to play." At the moment, he only sees himself playing for the Magpies.
