The first game of this summer's World Cup certainly didn't disappoint on the goals front. Yuri Gazinsky and Denis Cheryshev got the ball rolling in the first half before Russia ran riot in the second.
Substitute Artem Dzyuba scored their third with his first touch but the hosts would save the best until last.
Entering into added time, Cheryshev bagged his second of the night, floating the ball into the top corner with a nonchalant swish of his left foot from the edge of the Saudi penalty area.
It was set to be the goal of the game before team-mate Golovin stepped up to the plate.
Taking a free-kick from 25 yards out, the midfielder curled the ball around the Saudi wall for it to come back inside the post and beyond the reach of opposing goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Mayouf.
The hosts finished with an emphatic 5-0 victory which will no doubt stand them in good stead for the rest of the tournament.
