Atletico Madrid have made Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino their main candidate to replace Diego Simeone, according to The Mirror.
Simeone has been linked with a move away from the Spanish capital in summer, with Inter and the Premier League potential destinations.
The Rojiblancos see Pochettino as the man to replace his compatriot, who guided them to two Champions League finals and a Liga title.
However, Pochettino has a contract which runs until 2021, meaning Spurs will hold out for a massive payoff before he will be allowed to leave, while Real Madrid are also said to have eyes on the coach.
