It's not all about Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland in the transfer market. The case of Antonio Rüdiger, very similar to that of the PSG striker, also gets its share of attention ahead of next season.
The Chelsea centre-back's contract expires on 30th June 2022 and he is still determined not to renew. According to the 'Daily Mail', he has again rejected an extension offer from the Blues recently.
Rüdiger did not want to accept a salary of eight million euros per year. In fact, his demands have little to do with this figure, as he has asked for 25 million euros a year, three more than Romelu Lukaku receives.
Meanwhile, several European giants are lining up to keep a close eye on his situation. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are three of those interested in the 28-year-old centre-back, who, if he remains firm in his refusal to continue, would arrive for free next summer at his new destination.
