Ross Barkley "needs more tests" on suspected hamstring injury

Ross Barkley, previously linked with a move to Tottenham, has not trained for a number of days but Koeman refuses to put a date on his return.
The England international only has one year remaining on his contract for the Merseyside club but has failed to agree on a new deal.
On the injury, Koeman said: "He stopped training last Monday, it looks like the hamstring. But we need to do more tests today and tomorrow to know exactly what the injury is."
The Everton boss also added that there was "no update" on speculation to do with Barkley´s future at the club when speaking ahead of his side´s Europa League qualifier with Hajduk Split on Thursday.
He added that he will "wait until the end of August" when asked if the 23-year-old midfielder was in his plans this season. He has not ruled out Barkley staying at the club and said last week that there had not been any offers for the player.
The club are, however, poised to announce the signing of Iceland midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea for a reported fee of £45m. Koeman said at the news conference that the 27-year-old passed a medical at the club earlier on Wednesday.
