Despite being on the other side of the Atalntic, Wayne Rooney has not forgotten European football. The DC United star continues to follow everything on the other side of the ocean: The Premier League, the Champions League...
Recently the English forward had declared his favourites to win this year's Champions League. In this case, he went for two, and chose neither Barcelona nor Manchester United. He, in fact, opted for Manchester City or Juventus, with both teams potentially meeting in the semi-finals.
And Rooney explained why he thought the Italian giants were the strongest: "For any team to sign Cristiano Ronaldo is a huge bonus. I am sure he will do what he has come to do in the last ten years: score goals".
"I believe Juve will win the Champions League this year for the sole reason that Cristiano is there" said the Liverpool-born star about his potential winners.
