Ronaldo was the top scorer in the competition, with 15 goals, and he was the focal point of Real Madrid's high-powered attacking unit.
His goals helped his side win their third consecutive Champions League, their fourth in five years, and the fifth of Ronaldo's career.
One of his efforts, the spectacular bicycle kick against Juventus, was also voted as the UEFA Goal of the Season, beating out impressive efforts from the likes of Gareth Bale.
Lionel Messi was not a nominee for the award, and it was Mo Salah who finished a distant second, despite carrying his Liverpool side to the final in Kiev.
Ronaldo has since left Real Madrid to join Juventus, and he will hope to continue his winning streak in Italy.
