"Ronaldo wants another Ballon d'Or and he wants it with Juve"

One day after Leo Messi won the Ballon d'Or with which he is once again ahead of an intimate enemy, Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus director of sport Fabio Paratici, spoke of the Portuguese's hunger and wishes for the future in Turin.

As has been happening in the last few big ceremonies of individual awards, Cristiano Ronaldo was in the news because of his absence, with all the excitement that usually entails. His club, however, wanted to protect him and defend him from criticism.

Paratici, on this occasion, showed his conviction that Ronaldo will win it again sooner rather than later. He made clear in his statements to 'Sky Italia': "He wants to win another Ballon d'Or and he wants to do it with us. We support him".

The Juventus sporting director did not want to give more importance to CR7, 3rd in the Ballon d'Or, who opted to stay in Italy to win another smaller award.

"I smile because there are other problems. He wanted the Serie A MVP because he is an ambitious person and wants to show that he is also the best here. In our opinion, he deserves the Ballon d'Or," he said.

In addition, continuing the words of Jorge Mendes, his agent, Fabio Paratici said that Cristiano Ronaldo will continue next season at Juventus "without any doubt" willing to continue breaking individual and team records.

And if Van Dijk, despite his later rectification, left him a good message, and Luka Modric, who questioned his chivalry, put him in the spotlight, many others came out in his defence. Not only his sister, but also other people from the world of football.

"Cristiano did not win the Ballon d'Or last year because Real Madrid did not want it," said Chiellini, who also denied that Messi is ahead: "It's like choosing between Nadal and Federer".
