The Real Madrid superstar has been named the IFFHS (International Federation of Football History & Statistics) world's best goalscorer for 2016 for his superb record in front of goal over the calendar year.
Ronaldo won the award in 2013, 2014 and 2016 and was presented with the latest edition's trophy by IFFHS vice-president, Robert Ley.
The Portugal international, who has been dropped for his national team's upcoming fixtures, scored 24 times (13 goals for Portugal and 11 for Real Madrid) to pip arch rival Lionel Messi (21) for the second time in a matter of weeks.
