Ronaldo on target as Al Nassr reach AFC Champions League quarters

A brace from Colombia's Jhon Duran and a penalty goal from Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo sealed a 3-0 win for Al Nassr over Iran's Esteghlal, sending the Saudi side through to the quarterfinals of the Asian Champions League.
After a draw in the first leg, it was all to play for on Monday at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, where Stefano Pioli's side imposed their quality against the Tehran side, who played the entire second half with a man down after Mehran Ahmadi was sent off for a second booking in first-half stoppage time.
Before that, Duran ('9) and Ronaldo ('27, penalty) had already scored. Duran himself sealed the win and the qualification in the 84th minute.
Al Nassr's quarter-final opponents will be Al Sadd, who eliminated Al Wasl 3-1 at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
The Qatari side settled the match with three goals in 11 minutes of the first half, scored by Mostafa Meshaal, Algerian Youcef Atal and Akram Afif, to cancel out Fabio Lima's goal that had put the Emirati side ahead after 10 minutes.
