CR7 now is CR50. Or he is again. Because as he did for Manchester United and Real Madrid, he has reached the 50 goal mark for Juventus.
A year and a half after he moved to Turin, he has reached this moment. Few doubted that he would reach this feat, as few people doubt that he will reach 100 goals. At ProFootballDB, however, we wanted to check how long he needed to reach 50 compared to previous times.
The conclusion is that this a Ronaldo worse than his time at Madrid and better than his time at Manchester United. He took 70 matches to reach 50 goals.
At Old Trafford, he needed more than double, a total of 191 matches. Obviously, it wasn't this Cristiano, even with regards to the amount of game time. But we didn't find the purified Cristiano at the Bernabeu either. There he beat that record: he scored fifty in just 54 games.
His version there is the best one, but not comparable to that of the talent that at that time became the most expensive signing in Los Blancos history. Besides, if it wasn't for the great run he is currently experiencing with Juve, it would have taken much longer.
By the way, it took him 114 matches to reach 50 goals with the Portugues national team. In any case, although it takes him longer now to get going, he continues to be a goal predator.
Out of all of the goals he has scored for Juve, the teams he has scored the most goals against are Parma and Sassuolo with 4. He has scored 3 against Fiorentina, Cagliari, Sampdoria, Udinese and Atlético Madrid. He has scored 2 against 11 teams and 1 against another 5.
