Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo says he is now a striker after reflecting on his transition from a winger to a "penalty-box player".
The 30-year-old won a record fourth Golden Shoe after scoring 48 goals in La Liga last season and credits his success in front of goal to a subtle positional shift.
He said to Marca: "I'm different now, I'm more a penalty-box player, not so much on the wing, because you score more goals from there so I changed my position slightly.
"It's been a natural change and it's certainly kept me happy."
Ronaldo also admitted he is desperate to win a trophy with Portugal after helping his nation secure a place at Euro 2016.
