Ronaldo expected in Turin on Tuesday
The Italian giants had reportedly initially hope to welcome the Portuguese to the club this weekend, something which has been scuppered by the star's holiday in Greece following his World Cup exploits.
Now, according to 'Mediaset Sport', Ronaldo could arrive in Turin as early as Tuesday in order to put pen to paper with the 'Old Lady'.
Juve are thought to be keen to tie up the deal sooner rather than later, with the player's agent Jorge Mendes currently attempting to assure Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta that a deal is close to completion.
'Los Blancos' are thought to be keen for Ronaldo to release a statement explaining why he wants to leave the club in order to accept his departure, thus covering their backs against claims they forced the 33-year-old out.
Ronaldo's release clause remains €1bn. However, Madrid are thought to be open to a deal worth around €150m.
The move is looking more and more likely with each passing day, with Mendes recently admitting that a move to Serie A would present his client with a "new challenge".
