Ronaldo believes the Saudi League will be the 'fourth most competitive in the world'

Cristiano Ronaldo left elite football to continue his career in the Saudi League. The Portuguese, who was once again an important player with his national team, gave an interview to 'BeIN Sports' to talk about his current footballing situation.

"I feel really good. That's why I'm here. If I didn't think about it, I wouldn't be here," he said of his Portugal call-up for the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

On his arrival at Al Nassr, Cristiano said: "I'm in a very competitive league. They should look at the Saudi championship differently.

"Obviously, it's not like the Premier League, I'd be lying if I said it was, but it's competitive. I'm surprised at the strength. It has good teams, it's balanced, the Arab players are good, the foreign players give quality," he added.

"It will possibly be, in five or six years' time, if they continue with this plan, the fourth or fifth most competitive league in the world," he continued.
