The Italian league will kick off on August 19th, and Ronaldo will make his league debut away in Verona against Chievo.
However, there is no shortage of blockbuster action in the first weekend of Calcio action.
Lazio will play host to Napoli, placing a side who finished fifth last season against the unlucky runners-up. Meanwhile, newly promoted Parma - back in Serie A for the first time in four years after rising from Serie D but starting the season with a five point deduction - will kick off at home to Udinese.
Inter will begin away at Sassuolo while their cross city rivals Milan welcome Genoa to San Siro. The 'Rossoneri' will travel to Napoli the following week to take on their former manager, Carlo Ancelotti.

And it is Lazio who will be the opponents for Ronaldo's first home game of the season a week later in Turin - some start for the side from Rome as well.
The seventh week of the championship will likely see the touchpaper lit with two huge games. The first Rome derby - possibly the most fiercely contested matchup in the world - and Juventus' tie against Napoli have been scheduled for the last week in September.
Two weeks later and it will be all eyes on San Siro first the first Derby della Madonnina, Inter the designated home team as they take on Milan.
