Cristiano Ronaldo spoke through a message published on his official Twitter profile- and another on Instagram- about the Champions League last 16 1st leg match that Juventus will face against Porto. The Portuguese is already thinking about reaching the final.

Cristiano Ronaldo was full of ambition in a message he shared on his official Twitter profile. He spoke about the Champions League match that he faces with Juventus against Porto in the last 16 and said that he hopes it is the first piece in the puzzle to reach to grand final.

"Tomorrow we have a very important game against a very strong team and I can only hope that it may be the beginning of the long walk we want to take until the final. Respect for the opponent, ambition for the victory and 100% focus on our goals. Let’s go, guys! Fino Alla Fine!", he said.

He accompanied this text with an image of himself training, controlling the ball with the laces of his right foot. He is most likely to start the match under Andrea Pirlo, who has him among his top-calibre weapons.

With regards to Cristiano Ronaldo's intention to play in the Champions League final again, you have to remember that the last time he played in one was 26th May 2018, when he played for Real Madrid and faced Liverpool. His side won 3-1 and another trophy in his cabinet.

Ronaldo re-edited his message for his Instagram profile with the same photo but different message in which he focussed on the Champions League knockout tie. He gave a certainly extensive analysis of his perspective of the knockout rounds.

"This is what Champions League is all about: the knockout rounds. It’s almost as if another competition starts from this point on and everybody has to bring their A game, because every detail can make the difference", he started.

"In the last couple of years we went home sooner than we wanted, but we continue to aim higher every season and this year is no exception", he added. After this sentence, he posted the same thing that he posted on Twitter. The comment section didn't take long to fill up with messages of support towards him.
