Roma and Juve agree to loan deal for Higuain

Gonzalo Higuain is a step closer to leaving for Roma. The team from Rome have apparently reached an agreement with Juventus for the loaning out of the player. Roma would be forced to then buy him.

The information, published by 'Corriere dello Sport', assures that both clubs have reached an agreement although it needs Higuain's approval to leave Juventus for Roma.

If the move is sealed, Gonzalo Higuain will play the 2019-20 season on loan at Roma, who will have to pay 27 million euros for him in summer 2020. They will have no choice but to buy him.

The arrival of the Argentinian striker to the Italian capital would open the doors for Edin Dzeko to join Inter Milan. That could then lead to Lukaku going to Inter and Mandzukic moving to Man Utd

Roma are hoping that Higuain's brother and agent arrives in the Italian capital this weekend. This is in order to complete the signing before the season gets underway.

But firstly, they will have to persuade the footballer to leave. Higuain has expressed over and over again his idea of staying at Juventus, but the arrival of another '9' would see him leave.
