Rodrygo on why he likes '9' "the least up front"

Brazilian forward Rodrygo Goes spoke to the press after Karim Benzema's last game and commented that up front, he likes playing '9', the centre forward, the least. But he also reassured that if Ancelotti "needed, I can help there, but not always".
"It's the position I like the least up front, but if the boss needs me to, I can help there, but not always", he commented to 'Movistar LaLiga'.
"It's normal - that they ask more from me after Benzema leaves. I worked for that. Since I got here, every season I was going to have more of a role. Whether with Karim or without him, I already knew I needed to be better", he stated.
"Today is a bit of a sad day for Madrid's identity because Karim and Asensio are leaving, and all the others. Especially Karim, who's our goalscorer, we're going to miss him", he added.
Rodrygo also analysed Madrid's season: "It's a bit difficult to say, but we are happy for the three titles, even though we wanted more. We know it's not easy to win, but we came out of it happy because we gave it everything. We could have given more in La Liga and against City was a bad day, we want to come back better next season", he finished.
