Rodri, Gaya to miss Cyprus clash

Spain coach Luis de la Fuente has ruled out midfielder Rodri Hernandez, the second captain, and Jose Luis Gaya, who is suffering from a knee knock sustained in his last game for Valencia, for the match against Cyprus.

Ferran Torres, who missed training on Monday and Tuesday with a knock sustained in the Barcelona game on Sunday, is among the 23 Spanish players who will be avalaible in Limassol for the penultimate Euro 2024 qualifier.

The fact that 'La Roja' have already sealed his place at EURO 2024 and the number of games he has played for Manchester City means that De la Fuente will be resting his key midfielder for a less demanding match against Cyprus.
