Several names have sounded in the last few days that could take Unai Emery's place. One of them being Rodgers, who is currently having a great first half of the season with Leicester City. The coach spoke about this.
"It's natural that there are rumours. If you are doing well, people want to take you away from something you enjoy," the Foxes coach recognised in a press conference, upon being questioned.
"There are always a series of names- We are at the start of something here. My relationship with the people and the players is strong," the coach stated, showing how he is enjoying his new step.
And he showed regret for Emery's situation: "There is disappointment every time a coach loses his job. Unai has shown his worth for some years. I have sympathy for him."
