Roberto Martinez in Saudi Arabia for Ronaldo and Super Cup

New Portugal boss, Spaniard Roberto Martinez, has travelled to Riyadh to speak to Cristiano Ronaldo, who is now at Al Nassr and with other Portuguese players who are in the Saudi capital to play the Spanish Super Cup.
Roberto Martinez is in Arabia after being posted in videos by Valencia - who are in the Super Cup - and by the Portuguese press.
The national side's new boss said in his presentation this week that he wanted to speak with all the Portuguese national side's players, including Ronaldo, who deserves all his 'respect', he said.
Cristiano Ronaldo's future for Portugal is one of the main unknowns which faces the ex-Belgium manager. The captain had a controversial time at the Qatar World Cup which was marked due to the disagreements he had with manager Fernando Santos.
After recently signing for Al Nassr, but having not yet made his debut, it is still unknown whether he will be back to his old form.
As well as Cristiano, Roberto Martinez has made the most of his visit to Riyadh to visit the Valencia squad and chat to midfielder Andre Almeida and defender Thierry Correia, according to images posted on social media by the club themselves.
He may also be meeting the Real Betis' Portuguese contingent, goalkeeper Rui Silva and midfielder William Carvalho, who go up against FC Barcelona this Thursday in the Saudi capital.
