Ritchie cuts one Newcastle fan's celebrations short and club apologise!

94th minute. Newcastle were are the relegation and had held Chelsea to 0-0 throughout the game. But there was still time for a late twist. In almost the last play of the game, the ball was sent into Kepa's box and Hayden scored the goal. The Newcastle fans went crazy at the last minute winner. The Newcastle players celebrated it right in front of them. But everyone celebrated except one person. 

That is what happened to one supporter in a black coat after taking an unfortunate blow to the private parts during Matt Ritchie's celebration. 

Hayden went to the corner sliding on his knees. Several teammates, jumping for joy, ran after him to hug him. But Ritchie decided to unleash his anger kicking the corner flag. Unfortunately for him, the point of the corner flag got him in a very uncomfortable area. The incident went viral. 

Even Newcastle apologised on social media for the incident on behalf of the footballer... and the corner flag.  If you look at the top right hand corner of the video, you can clearly see the corner flag strike the supporter.

A few fans which were in the area recorded the aftermath of the incident and it shows that he was in pain for quite a few seconds. It was not just Chelsea fans who were hurt by Hayden's last minute goal.
