After featuring against Betis for the first time since 13th March, Riqui Puig has an opportunity to start Barca's next La Liga match against Celta on Tuesday. He has not started a match for 'Los Azulgranas' since their game against Linense in the Copa del Rey on 5th January.
Barcelona sealed their place in next season's Champions League at the Benito Villamarin on Saturday. However, they will be without Sergio Busquets for their next game as he received a yellow card during the clash with Betis. He has now accumulated an illegal number of cards this season and will therefore be suspended for Celta's visit on Tuesday.
Moreover, Xavi Hernandez is doubtful over Frenkie de Jong, who has picked up a knock. Considering the fact that his side have now achieved Champions League status for next season, the Dutchman may be rested on Tuesday in order to recover from said niggle. Nico Gonzalez will also be absent due to injury.
With this being said, Riqui Puig could have a big role to play when Coudet's side visit the Camp Nou on Tuesday. Despite Riqui Puig being the most obvious choice in the position, it has been speculated for a while now that Xavi wants to try Eric Garcia in the pivot role and this may be seen against Celta.
