The Frenchman has backed former Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness to return to the club.
He serveed half of a three-and-a-half year jail term for tax evasion.
The 64-year-old left jail 6 months ago, in February, and could return to his former club. According to rumours, he will decide his future this week.
Ribery backs him and says that he is a part of the club and has to return. He made over 300 appearances for the club, won three times the Bundesliga, aswell as three European Cups and was the sporting director for 30 years.
"I am sure that he will come back," Ribery said.
"Uli Hoeness is so important for the club. Bayern Munich has so much power, but Uli can again give the club still more power.
"He has so much power, so much euphoria. Uli is the heart of the club".
