The plans aren't changing at the Spanish FA. Despite being in the middle of a pandemic and with a multitude of positives at teams, the Spanish Super Cup will be played in Saudi Arabia again.
According to 'Marca', the plans of the RFEF are to keep the second edition of the tournament in the Asian country, as was scheduled, for the second week of January.
It must be remembered that the four teams that will travel in 2021 to Saudi Arabia will be Real Madrid and Barcelona, for coming 1st and 2nd in the league, and Athletic and Real Sociedad, for being cup finalists.
The Federation, says the source quoted, will travel to Saudi Arabia in the coming weeks to find out first-hand how the country is doing, its health situation and the development of a safe protocol for athletes.
On the other hand, 'Marca' also explained that the RFEF are already handling a single date for the final of the Copa del Rey. It will be 4th April between Real Sociedad and Athletic, while the final of the 2020-21 edition will be 18th April, also at the Estadio de la Cartuja.
