Stade Rennais are taking it easy with Eduardo Camavinga and do not want to rush him. Nor to sell him to one of the giants, such as Real Madrid, that are on his trail. In fact, they are saying that they are not scared of him leaving for the time being.
Nicolas Holveck, president of Rennes, showed this tranquillity with the young midfielder in an interview for 'Eurosport France', where he recognised that he has not been sold yet because the club has not wanted to do so.
"They said he would leave last summer and he is still here. Eduardo is an incredible player, we need him and the season has only started two months ago. The question is not on the agenda," said the manager.
Furthermore, Holveck explained that the economic situation of European football, which is affected by the coronavirus, is playing in his favour. Hence the caution and tranquillity when thinking about the sale (at a fair price) of Camavinga.
"Abroad, matches are played in empty stadiums and the impact on ticket sales revenue is enormous. With all these considerations, I think we can wait for a quiet transfer market," he said.
