Mohammed Salisu's future seems to lie in France. 'RMC Sport' has taken for granted his departure to Rennes once the season is over. The French outfit were the surprise package this campaign and will play in the next edition of the Champions League.
The central defender, sought after by several important Spanish sides, will join the Ligue 1 club. They were the only ones willing to pay the footballer's buyout clause.
According to the aforementioned media outlet, the deal between Rennes and Valladolid is almost done. As well as paying the buyout clause, they will also give him several bonuses.
For the move to be official, Rennes and Salisu just need to reach an agreement on his contract. That does not seem to be a big problem because Rennes' finances allow them to make a big offer for the Ghanaian central defender.
Salisu has made 28 appearances for Valladolid this season. He has scored one goal and given an assist.
