It is the fourth injury so far this season for Renato Sanches. The player, who arrived at Paris Saint-Germain last summer, got injured again and will be out for a few weeks.
"He's suffered a muscle injury and will be out for a few weeks, which means a lot of games at the moment", Christophe Galtier explained after the 2-1 win over Toulouse in Ligue 1.
When speaking about it, the manager also said a few words to his player: "He loves training and competing, he's so eager to play he gets impatient. And sometimes he gets annoyed, he gets all tense. I still don't think he's had a full season and that gets him down. He needs to relax to avoid being all tense, which creates muscle problems, it's not the amount of games he plays which affects him".
The ex-Swansea and Lille player has missed ten games with PSG so far this 2022-23, and his weakest areas were his hamstrings. During his stay in England, the midfielder was out for three months, while before stepping foot in Paris he had been out for nearly 40 games in three seasons.
