FT: RM 0-0 Betis!! All over here! Betis draw, but I don't know how. Real Madrid were the better team all the way through and in the last 15 minutes, it was an absolute siege. Mendy inexplicably failed to score a one on one, Vinicius had two glorious chances and Carvajal had a chance from outside the box which caused pinball in the Betis box. The away side had to scramble clear on many other occasions, but RM will feel they should've have had a pen nine minutes from the end.

Mendy sends a ball into the box, it deflects off Ismael's back and goes through to Joel and the final whistle goes!

Betis sub: Fekir is replaced by Ismael for Betis.

Fekir, why don't you keep the ball? Betis have the ball and can take it to the corner, but Fekir looks for a teammate in the middle and it goes for a throw in.

RM siege continues and Betis somehow clear after Modric darts into the box.

And then RM head wide from the resulting corner.

Kroos' delivery falls to Vinicius, he cuts back and then gives it to Carvajal and his shot goes through players is saved by Joel and then when Ramos is about to tap home, Betis somehow scramble clear. Don't ask me how!

Mendy gets a corner off Emerson.

Vinicius!!!! Mendy's cross to the far post finds Vinicius and from close range, he stops Vinicius from scoring. Five added minutes.

Panic in the Betis box and Vinicius shoots at Joel!

Canales' ball is half cleared and then Moreno continues the move, stops the ball from going out and then Emerson fires wide!

If RM don't win this, we'll hear a lot more about that penalty. We've seen penalties given for a lot less this season.

Carvajal's cross was creeping in and Joel tips it over.

The VAR is checking and the ball hits Feddal on his outstretched arm. It's not deliberate, but with the new rules, that's a penalty for me as he makes himself bigger. Betis lucky, I feel.

RM!!! Canales loses his ball near the edge of te atea and Modric passes for Vinicius and Benzema is about to fire home, but Mandi slides in to stop him.

Ramos hits one which goes well wide. It was almost a throw-in.

Hazard feeds Rodygo inside the hbox and his shot from inside the box is deflected from close range.

Hazard has the ball in a dangerous area for RM near the Betis box and Moreno boots it away when Hazard tries to find Kroos with his pass.

Mendy goes down wanting a penalty, but it's an obvious dive and a stupid one.

Ten minutes gone of the second half and RM have yet to have a real chance.

Casemiro goes for goal and it's well wide of the mark.

Hazard runs and beats three before he is halted illegally by Guardado. This is within shooting range.

Betis attack and then there's pinball after a lack of communication between Varane and Carvajal!! Varane's clearance hits Moreno and goes for a goal kick.

HT: RM 0-0 Betis!! Half-time at the Bernabeu! Real Madrid have been better here, but Betis have held their own in defence and even had a couple of dangerous chances themselves. Hazard saw an 8th minute goal disallowed by VAR for offside and Ramos was denied by a super save from Joel. Loren and Fekir have come the closest for the visitors. Back for more in 10 minutes!

One extra minute. It ends with Courtois easily claiming a cross from the far side by Canales (one of Betis' rare attacks down Madrid's left).

What's Varane doing? He loses the ball 25 yards out and Loren sees Courtois off his line, he shoots and the Belgian has to make a tremendous stop to his left to prevent Betis going in front.

Benzema shoots all along the ground from outside the box and it's easily saved.

Joel!!!!! What a stop to deny Ramos from point blank range! Modric sends a long pass forward and Benzema chests it down for Ramos whose shot is superbly saved.

Emerson concedes a corner.

Zidane's men try to find a way through thanks to a splendid run by Hazard, he gives it to Rodrygo and then Carvajal's ball back into the area when he reaches the by-line is dealt with by Betis.

Casemiro is booked for a late challenge from behind on Fekir. Right under the ref's nose.

RM are definitely on top, but Betis are defending solidly and are having a go when they get the chance.

Benzema!!!! Carvajal sends a cross to the back post and Benzema in the six yard box nearly gets his foot to it to turn it into the goal.

Fekir sees Courtois off his line and goes for glory from 40 yards! It flies wide though.

Courtois completely misses the corner and then a shot by Guardado I think hits a teammate and goes out. Goal kick.

His free-kick is low and hits the wall, he gets a second chance and it's deflected for a corner.

Fekir is brought down by Casemiro 25 yards from goal and it's central.

Great play by Hazard and then Betis prevent Modric's shot going towards goal.

Great play by Canales again down RM's right and he passes to Fekir, but his touch is heavy and that allows Ramos to block for a throw-in.

Rodrygo sprints down this near side towards Alex Moreno and his pass is intercepted. On the counter, Canales breaks, but nothing comes of it as Modric gets in the way of his cross.

Kroos steps up and it goes well wide of the goal.

Hazard scores!!!! Betis want offside and this will be checked! Hazard gets the ball on the far side from Benzema and looks offside, he buts Emerson and cuts inside before firing past Joel, but I think this is coming back.

What a save by Joel!!! Carvajal plays a lovely pass from midfield, Modric lets it go through his legs and it runs through to Benzema. He is one on one with Joel and the goalie dives to his right to make a great save.

Ramos gets his head to Kroos' setpiece, but Casemiro can't connect with his acrobatic attempt.

Betis!!! Inside 30 seconds Betis attack through Fekir and he gives it to Canales and then Moreno's cross is blocked by the defence.
