The Spanish giants will be without captain Sergio Ramos, who has still not fully recovered from a calf injury, and defender Álvaro Odriozola, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after fracturing his collarbone in training. This means that young Spaniard Jesús Vallejo may keep his place at the heart of the defence after an impressive display in Saturday's 3-0 victory against Athletic Club.
Thursday's clash at the Coliseum Alfono Pérez comes too soon for Brazilian starlet Vinicius Jr, who does not make the squad despite stepping up his recovery from injury in recent weeks and resuming first-team training.
Marcos Llorente and Mariano are also notable absentees for Real, who will look to talisman Karim Benzema to lead the line and continue his hot form this season.
Real Madrid squad to face Getafe:
Goalkeepers: Navas, Courtois and Altube.
Defenders: Carvajal, Vallejo, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo and Reguilón.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Valverde, Asensio, Brahim and Isco.
Forwards: Benzema, Bale and Lucas Vázquez.
