Real Madrid's confident performance in Rome was enough to guaranteed their place in the hat for the next round of the Champions League.
Solari's men put their shock defeat against Eibar behind them and ran out conformably winners against Roma. Some groups aren't finished yet so there may be some slight changes, however here are the possible sides that Real Madrid may face in the first Champions League knockout stage.
From Group A, Borussia Dortmund look set to finish second and could face Madrid after drawing against Club Brugge. This may potentially be an easier draw for the club than Atletico Madrid, however BVB have impressed many with their dominance of the Bundesliga and attractive football. From group B, 'Los Blancos' will come up against either Inter Milan or Tottenham Hotspur. All hangs in the balance on the final gameday, as Tottenham need to win away at Barcelona to stand any real chance of progression.
Group C is by far the most tightly contested group with Liverpool, Napoli and PSG all fighting for qualification. Again, this group will go to the wire, with many tipping PSG and Liverpool to scrape through.
The other teams who are definitely through and may face Real Madrid are Schalke, Bayern, Ajax, Manchester City, Lyon, Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus and Manchester United.
