Real Madrid's fourteenth Champions League trophy shining in cabinet

Real Madrid's President, Florentino Perez, placed the club's fourteenth Champions League trophy in the boardroom, which the club won on 28th May in Paris. It is on display in Real Madrid City due to the ongoing construction at the Bernabeu, where it is shining alongside the rest of the trophies.
'Los Blancos' have a boardroom full of the most sought after trophy in club football. The President put the latest trophy in the middle of all the others after defeating Liverpool in the final, securing the club's fifth Champions League in the last 8 years.
The boardroom in Real Madrid City is now glowing due to the 24 European trophies in there, of which 14 have been won by the football team and 10 by the basketball team, who were a whisker away from winning their 11th. They lost in the final by just one point to Anadolu Efes in Belgrade.
The placing of the fourteenth trophy took place on the same day that Madrid announced Modric's contract extension, who extends his stay with 'Los Blancos' until 2023. Everyone associated with Madrid was relieved that the Croatian will continue to represent the club.
