Real Madrid were certainly the losers of the match between Wales and Croatia. Both Gareth Bale and Luka Modric got injured. In fact, the latter had to leave the field prematurely.
Although it seemed initially like they were bad injuries, the word from the Wales and Croatia camps is that they are not too bad. That was a sigh of relief for the La Liga team.
"According to the doctors, Modric has received a very painful blow to his quadriceps. It's normal people are asking about the Clasico, but it seems like it's not a major injury," Nikola Jerkan, a member of the Croatian coaching staff, told 'Radio Marca'.
But these two players are not the only ones who are a doubt for the Barca game. Ferland Mendy is trying to get back in time as well. The Frenchman could not take part with his teammates, although time is on his side.
The other player who may not play is Toni Kroos. The German midfielder had to go off against Granada and has 12 days to try and be ready.
The good news for Real Madrid is that Marcelo and Brahim are back. Both could get game time in Mallorca after recovering from injury.
