Benzema and Carvajal are the main absences in Real Madrid's squad to face Valladolid. The full-back had a relapse in his injury in the match against Valencia and the Frenchman, who was a clear candidate to start, couldn't train on Friday 19th, one day before the match.

Zinedine Zidane already confirmed that his compatriot would not be joining the squad. "He won't be with us tomorrow. He has a problem and because it came up yesterday he won't be there tomorrow. We'll see for next week", he said ahead of the match.

To cover the gaps that the Frenchman and Spaniard have left, the manager has looked to the B team. The two new players are Antonio Blanco and Hugo Duro. Both are shining for the B team, Castilla, and will try to make room for themselves by making the most of the fact that the heavyweights are suffering from physical problems.

The full squad is: Courtois, Lunin, Altube; Varane, Nacho, Mendy, Chust, Miguel; Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Isco, Arribas, Antonio Blanco; Asensio, Lucas Vázquez, Vinicius, Mariano and Hugo Duro.
