Real Madrid legend Kroos hails Pedri as the world’s best in his position

Former Real Madrid star Toni Kroos praised Barcelona’s Pedri, describing him “currently the best there is in that position in my eyes”. 

Kroos highlighted Pedri’s immense influence. “Pedri, in general, is a player who you'll miss when he is not playing, no matter against whom”. The German midfielder stressed that Pedri’s value goes beyond goals and assists, noting, “He gives you solutions”.

Kroos was particularly impressed by Pedri’s ability to beat opponents, citing that in the Champions League he outplays 52 opponents per game, and in La Liga, the figure rises to 59. “He beats 11-12 defenders per game, which is the most difficult thing for a midfielder,” Kroos claimed.

Such statistics underscore Pedri’s exceptional dribbling and vision, qualities that set him apart among Europe’s elite midfielders. Kroos concluded, “He is the best. And if you're missing a player like that, you will notice it!”.
