River Plate playmaker Franco Mastantuono is on Real Madrid's radar, according to 'TNT Sports'. The Spanish club are considering signing him when he turns 18 as he is currently 16. He finishes his contract at the end of 2025, just when he would become of age.
The same media outlet reports that they are considering making a formal offer in 2025. Other clubs such as FC Barcelona and PSG have also shown interest in the young playmaker.
Mastantuono has made his first-team debut this season and has become an important player for Martin Demichelis. He has already made nine appearances, including three starts, and scored one goal.
In recent years, several young players from South America have joined the Madrid squad. Vinicius, Rodrygo, Endrick and Valverde are clear examples. Franco Mastantuono could be next.
