Real Madrid in contact once again with Milinkovic-Savic

'Fichajes.com' reports an approach from Real Madrid to Lazio for the signing of the midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. He is currently in his fifth season at the Italian side.
Apparently, according to the cited source, Milinkovic-Savic is liked by the Real Madrid board. This has led the club to contact the footballer and his inner circle in recent weeks to find out whether he wants to move to the Bernabeu.
That said, Real's interest in the ex-Genk player is to sign him in the summer transfer window once the 2019-20 season is over.
The young 24 year-old midfielder has now got 35 goals in 185 appearances as a Lazio player, having played 22 matches so far this season. Of those 22, 20 of them have been as a starter. He has scored four times this term and given six assists.
It is worth remembering that the president of the Italian club, Claudio Lotito, put a price on the sought-after player a few months back, in August last year to be specific.
"If you're asking me how much he costs, let me remind you that last year, I rejected an offer of 110 million euros. How much was Pogba sold to Man U for? For 105 plus five? Then Milinkovic-Savic is worth more because he's much stronger, Lotito said at that time.
