Real Madrid head back to Eibar 350 days after being thumped there

It has been 350 days since Real Madrid made the trip to Eibar. A match which neither side will forget as Eibar comprehensively beat the Spanish giants 3-0. Solari was the Real Madrid coach at the time. 

Gonzalo Escalante, Sergi Enrich and Kike Garcia rounded off a thumping win for the Basque outfit. This also meant Eibar's first win against either Real Madrid, Barcelona or Atletico Madrid.

Up to then, Eibar had just got a draw against 'Los Blancos' in the 2016-17 season and seven losses. They have now lost against Real Madrid eight times because later on that season, Real Madrid came from behind to beat Eibar 2-1. 

Despite the fact the 'Armeros' are keen to repeat the feat this time around, but it is a very different Real Madrid side now. The team from the capital won 6-0 in their last game and Eibar coach Jose Luis Mendilibar called for calm in the build up. He said if his team are not focussed, they could also concede six, like Galatasaray did.
