Real Madrid completed on Thursday their first training session following a 6-1 win over Mallorca, the team is already preparing for their next fixture against Villarreal. Toni Kroos rejoins the group, as he recovers from a groin injury.
The starters for the Mallorca game did recovery drills in a session which combined physical and tactical work with some ball possession drills and ended up with a reduced space game and a finishing exercise.
The injured players: Dani Carvajal, Marcelo, Mendy, Dani Ceballos, and Gareth Bale worked in the indoor facilities.
Ancelotti's side remains unbeaten at the top of the table with 16 points, five wins and a draw out of six games, and 21 goals scored against eight conceded.
The team will be back at work this Friday at 18:00 CET, in their last session before facing off Villarreal. One hour before the game, Carlo Ancelotti will speak for the media.
