Real Madrid fear possible UEFA sanction for Rudiger

The Champions League clash against Arsenal is already on the horizon for Real Madrid, with the last-16 derby against Atletico Madrid still still lingering. UEFA has launched an investigation into several Real Madrid players for their celebrations on the pitch after the agonising quarter-final exit.
Although at first, it is expected that it will be a warning and a financial penalty for most of the protagonists. However, according to 'Marca', Real Madrid are concerned about the case of Antonio Rudiger.
The German centre-back went viral after the pass because of some images in which he celebrated in front of one of the Metropolitano's stands by putting his thumb to his neck and making a gesture as if he was cracking. This action does not seem to have pleased UEFA, who could consider the ‘Merengue’ defender's behaviour threatening.
That is why, according to this information, Madrid fear that, in addition to a financial penalty, Rudiger could face a match ban on Friday 4 April, which would make him miss at least the first leg of the quarter-final at the Emirates Stadium.
His absence would be a serious blow for a Real Madrid team that goes into the game with a weakened defence and with several players in doubt (such as Mendy) or whose performance is being questioned (as in the case of David Alaba after his performance in the 4-4 Copa del Rey draw against Real Sociedad).
