Real Madrid 'change mentality' in big games, says Bellingham

Real Madrid once again proved why they are known as the Kings of Europe. 'Los Blancos' secured their place in the quarterfinals after beating Atletico Madrid in a penalty shootout at the Metropolitano in the Champions League round of 16.
Jude Bellingham did not have his best performance in a Real Madrid shirt but his presence in the match increased as the game drew to a close.
The English midfielder reacted to the 'Merengues' victory and praised his team's change of mentality in important matches, as well as their 'composure' in key moments.
"That's sometimes what it takes, those moments of composure and poise. It's not always the mad quality that you see from us. There is a change of mentality when we come into these games, we know that there's a certain way of winning games," he said.
"We're very good at that. We understand game situations really well, and tonight was another example," he added.
In addition, the England international thanked 'Los Blancos' for providing the necessary security for his parents to be able to watch the match from the stands despite the hostile atmosphere that usually exists in Madrid derbies.
"My mum was at the game and I was a bit worried about my mum and dad coming tonight as it’s a very hostile game, but the club managed to help them out. It's nice, no matter how old you are, it's always nice to see your mum and dad in the stands," he concluded.
